May the words of my lips and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable to you, O Lord, our Rock and our Redeemer. Amen.

A young engineer working with an extremely successful construction company is growing concerned with the work that she is doing. The paperwork, the time at a desk, and the lack of true relationships in the office causes her to reconsider. However, life is certainly comfortable. Hours are generally predictable, and overtime is well compensated. Living is comfortable, and she is excited about moving forward with improving her quality of life with a new vehicle, upper middle class accommodations, and getting rid of her debt. Things are looking good. In fact things are looking really good.

You know God works in mysterious ways. At the time I first heard this song we were getting ready for our summer at camp where Baptism happened to be one of the daily topics. Then, this week I added a couple of new country songs onto the old IPod and three of those songs mentioned Baptism. There was Muddy Water by Trace Adkins, God Love Her by Toby Keith, and Everything is Fine by Josh Turner.
